On Thursday November 30, Collective held its first workshop of the new academic year. This photography workshop focused on visual storytelling began with a brief overview by Ju Laclau Massaglia of the pillars of composition and different techniques and examples on how to apply them. Then, participants had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by taking their own pictures around the main campus of The Hague University of Applied Sciences and get feedback on them.

“It was a very nice session. Participants seemed very engaged and ended up creating beautiful pictures following the different methods I had explained at the beginning of the workshop,” said Ju about the workshop. After the workshop, participants also mentioned they learnt new things and were excited to use them when taking new pictures later on.
